He catches the attention of the NYOPD and he is then brought for questioning regarding a copycat murder which is based on one of his novels. As he gets intrigued with this new window of opportunity of a living into crime and murder, he uses his connections to charm his way into hitting on the captivating and drop-dead gorgeous detective named Kate Beckett. Eventually, the scheming Castle decides to use Becket as his tool and model for the main character of his upcoming book series starring the famous “Nikki Heat”. Becket for her part who is an avid reader f Castle’s books at first disapproves of having Castle use her as a model, but later warmed up and recognized Castle as a useful resource in her team’s investigations. Previously, as Becket fought for her life, Castle tried to find the person responsible for the shooting. On the other hand, back at the precinct, Ryan and Esposito tried to adjust to the new captain in charge. Next up, Castle and Beckett will go after a murder suspect who’s circling the city in a Superhero costume.
